Cameride
After the earthquake, Camerino’s bus stops and routes changed, and neither the official app nor Google Maps kept up. Cameride is an unofficial app, built on hand-checked timetable data, that tells you which bus to take and when in a few seconds. It shows the next departures from your nearest stop and plans trips from A to B, including changes and walking. The route planner runs on the phone, so it works offline. It also follows your ride by GPS and tells you when to get off. Built with Expo (iOS, Android, web) and a Bun/Elysia API on Cloudflare Workers, with PostgreSQL + PostGIS. Both the app and the API use the same timetable engine, which plans routes with the RAPTOR algorithm. It has an iOS Live Activity and widget, and is fully translated into Italian and English.
